You can now add a new setting to your database if you would like to lock down the Online Registration options referred to as Relaxed Requirements. These are located on the Registration > Registration tab for an organization and without this setting can be edited by any user with Edit role.
The new setting is named RelaxedReqAdminOnly. When you add it to your database under Administration > Setup > Settings and set the the value to true, only a user with Admin role will be able to view and edit these options.
With this setting, an Admin user can select any of the relaxed options to use for an online registration, but no other user will be able to access these.
The addition of this setting will reduce the number of users that can make decisions regarding the information you require when a new record is added during an online registration.
